SHIPPING

All our pieces are made to order and ship within 7 business days (usually sooner). Production time can sometimes take slightly longer during sales and holidays since we make each piece by hand. You'll receive a shipping notification as soon as your order is fulfilled. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us!

CARRIER / EXPEDITED SHIPPING / rUSH ORDERS

We ship via USPS First Class and USPS First Class International by default which takes 3-5 days to the mainland U.S. and 1-2 weeks internationally (although can take longer globally depending on the country). You will receive tracking info with your shipping notification. Some items will automatically give you the option to upgrade to Priority Mail at checkout (3 days in the U.S.). Please contact us by email for other expedited shipping options and rush orders at aloha@seaandglass.com

LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES

While this rarely happens, we are not liable for lost or stolen packages during transit and it is the customers responsibility to contact their local post office if a package goes missing or arrives damaged. Customers are responsible for providing the correct shipping address. We use a precisely calculated shipping service for international orders, and are not responsible for any additional customs or VAT charges outside of USPS calculated shipping charges.

ANY OTHER ISSUES

Please email us at aloha@seaandglass.com with any other concerns, we are always happy to work with you to your satisfaction!

JEWELRY CARE

Always wear your pieces with care, especially sea glass pieces - glass is fragile, avoid contact with harsh chemicals and store in air tight containers when possible.

Gold-filled and sterling silver pieces tarnish with extended wear and exposure to natural elements and water over time, like all pure metal jewelry. They can be easily cleaned with jewelry cleaner and/or jewelry polishing cloths.

Sea glass can be cleaned with soap, water and a toothbrush if necessary. Use mineral oil on all sea glass pieces to refresh them and make the colors pop and shine again. Just dab a little on your fingers then rub the sea glass pieces and dry with a paper towel.

Kai Strands occasionally twist and can be easily untwisted by moving the slider bead down to the sea glass or shell piece, turning upside down and letting the strands unwind. Pull and smooth them gently and adjust the cords (if necessary) inside the slider bead so they're not crossed over.  This is a great time to wet the cord with water for cleaning, smoothing any kinks, and rubbing mineral oil on the sea glass piece to make the color pop and shine and refresh the whole piece.

Sea Love Strands can be easily straightened with water by wetting with your fingers and pulling smoothly the areas that may need it over time. Follow the instructions above for Kai Strands if you need to untwist them and for sea glass care.

MOBILE CARE

Glass can be very fragile, handle with care. Your mobile can hang indoors or out in light breeze - they are not meant to withstand heavy winds or rain.

If used in a baby room, please do not hang as a mobile over cribs - they are beautiful as a room accent out of reach of tiny hands:)

Our mobiles are handcrafted from rare found objects and meant to retain their natural rustic look and quality. On rare occasion a piece of glass may become loose and need to be re-secured. You can do this easily with any type of clear super glue.

To keep your sea glass clean and glistening over time you can rinse the mobile with water or use glass cleaner (lightly applied to a towel and then the sea glass). Use mineral oil rubbed on your fingers then on each piece of sea glass, sparingly, wiping off each piece fully after with a paper towel.

One of our favorite things about our mobiles is that you're also receiving a beautiful collection of genuine sea glass - like two gifts in one! If you ever tire of your mobile, it can be pulled apart with minimal "crafty" effort and the glue spots can be filed away with fine sand paper. Feel free to contact us for further instructions. You then have a lovely collection of sea glass to repurpose or simply enjoy!
